VANCOUVER's AUTHENTICATION & LEGALIZATION (APOSTILLE) OFFICE
When a document is being sent from Canada for use abroad, first it has to be notarized, and then it has to be 'authenticated' and 'legalized'. This is a complex process that Brosgall Legal specializes in. We do everything for you, from start to finish.
You've probably been advised by a foreign authority or lawyer that a document they need from you must be 'Apostilled', or authenticated and legalized. The process of authentication and legalization is the Canadian equivalent of 'apostille certification'. There are three steps: First, your document is notarized. Next, the notarized document is authenticated by the relevant government authorities in BC, or by DFAIT in Ottawa. Finally, your document is legalized by the embassy or consulate of the country where you want to send your document.
Brosgall Legal specializes in this work, and we will help you to accurately prepare and process your documents so that the authentication and legalization of your documents goes smoothly. Our pre-registration and experience with foreign consulates lets us expedite the processing of your documents, and avoids stress, costly errors and delays.
