Profile photo for Stacey A. Mirowski Stacey A. Mirowski is a LGBTTQ lawyer originally from Thunder Bay and practicing in both Ottawa, Thunder Bay and Eastern Ontario. Stacey is committed to advocating in the area of labour & employment, human rights and social justice. She articled at Canada's largest public sector union working on grievance, arbitration and human rights files. Stacey is committed to helping individuals and their families navigate the complexities of today's most stressful life situations. The loss of a job, a separation, workplace discrimination or even setting up a will can weigh heavily on many. You can contact her for family law, civil litigation, small claims and a variety of other matters. Stacey's commitment to human rights is demonstrated by her years of volunteer work. She is a Director with Reach Canada, an organization focused on providing access to justice for persons with disabilities; the former Chair of the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) Ottawa; a former LEAF at Work Coordinator/Facilitator and current Education Committee Member. She spent five years on Ottawa's International Women's Day Organizing Committee and sat as a Director on the Ottawa Capital Pride Community Advisory Committee helping to provide an environment for advocacy, education, and the fostering of a strong and vibrant Rainbow Community. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Stacey was a contracts specialist for 10 years. She has negotiated every type of contract from simple NDAs to multi-million dollar agreements.
